A (linux) wallpaper

A wallpaper I made in my spare time. The box represents a package manager common in linux distributions. Although I call it a Linux wallpaper, it doesn't have the usual symbolism commonly referred to in the Linux world. No penguins, no logos, no Microsoft bashing.

Every single time

Call it bad luck or coincidence. But in my experience, this happens every single time.

Peek-a-boo at Radheef.mv

radheef.mv (as opposed to radheef.com) is the official go to place to find an online Maldivian dictionary. I.... am not going to be too critical of all the inconsistencies that one can find in the site. This website, designed by the Academy for such things, is still in its infancy and does look better than it did a couple of months ago.

A small vacation

Some few weeks back, I took a relaxing break from life when I visited a tourist resort, Diamonds Thudufushi Beach & Water Villas, here in Maldives. While not being the target audience of resorts (its just awkward when a Maldivian is trying to practice his hospitality on me), its not so uncommon for Maldivians to go on such small vacations.

Just a house

It's just a house in Hulhumale'. Nothing fancy. Just a couple bucks worth of work. What's so special about this particular project is that it's the first work I done and finished in DraftSight. Which I mentioned was great, did I not? This also marks the first CAD project I finished in Linux.
Some required revisions and a load calculation aside, this project is done. On to the next project it is.

Sonee logo submission

Sonee Hardware (of the 'thine thine haye haye nuva eh nuvaeh' fame) hosted a logo design competition to celebrate their 45 years of service. Seeing that I had some free time to pass I did a little something myself.

There is ofcourse no special significance to the logo except that I planted the logo of Sonee hardware in to my design. It was nothing special any special aspirations of winning the jackpot

Arch Linux... period

I'm a regular reader of a certain blog, OMGubuntu. It was one of the best places to keep up to date about the Ubuntu world and I have learned quite a lot by visiting there. Take a break and check out the blog.
